Our company is focused on basic research in developing Internet of Things (IoT) applications using cellular data. The focus is on low power, low temperature and low data volume situations.

LTE, LTE-M and NBIoT standards are being tested along with LoRa and Short Burst Data satellite communications.

Our test system uses connection to a weather station and multiple MODBUS connections to Solar Power monitoring and control units.  This technology is common to many different industrial controllers and sensors.

Our test system is set up for use in an unheated location using solar power and very limited batteries. Based in Alaska, our test includes very cold and very limited solar power.

About Us

Serenity Lake Communications was established to determine whether a market exists for remote cabin monitoring systems based on the new generation of IoT (Internet of Things) technology. Since  we have found very low demand for private users, all future development will be concentrated on basic communications techniques useful for industrial and commercial applications.
